First Night Of the production of a new Romantic Military Drama, In Four Acts, by Watts Phillips, Esq., author of "The Dead Heart," "Lost in London," &c., entitled Not Guilty, The piece has been months in preparation and will be presented with every attention to detail, situation and effect. The "Young Volunteer Corps," and Beck's Philadelphia Band, No. 1, Are specially engaged, in order to give the proper martial effect to the Military Displays incidental to the Drama. Monday Evening, January 3, 1870, The performance will commence at quarter to 8 o'clock, with Overture-"Military," Hassler, Expressly Composed and Dedicated to T. J. Hemphill, Esq. After which will be produced the New Military Drama, entitled Not Guilty, With New and Appropriate Scenery by the eminent artist, Mr. George Heilge. Machinery by Arthur Wright. Properties and Military Appointments by E. Wood and C. Hoffman. The Volunteer Uniforms, the Oriental and other Costumes, by a skilled Artisan, aided by Mrs. Ricker and Assistants.
